At Observer’s Space, we don’t intend to track you with analytic tools or cookies. Nevertheless, we do have some features that you might dislike:
- We are sponsored by NodeGet, and they use Cloudflare as their analytic tool. You may refer to their Privacy Policy. Consider using Tor or uBlock Origin to prevent fingerprinting if you do not like analytic tools.
- The website does not function fully if you disable JavaScript, that is to say, Giscus or Fediverse comments will not be loading. You can always use the alternative mailing list instead.
- In order to minimize the repository size, we deliver web fonts via third-party CDNs: jsDelivr serves PT Sans, PT Mono, Alice and Noto Serif SC, while ZeoSeven Fonts serves IBM Plex Sans SC. When your browser fetches the fonts, these providers can technically see your IP address and user agent; jsDelivr states it does not permanently store them.
We do not store your IP address, your browser type or operating system. Our web server provider Codeberg only keeps one week log of your IP address. We have moved to FramaSoft’s GitLab Pages due to the current status of Codeberg Pages. You should refer to FramaSoft’s CGU, specifically:
